Good bones. Bad intentions.
Build your own garage. Shift early enough to keep your engine alive. Each 10 points lost from condition or oil reduces engine power by 1%.

Paint, wheel finish and hood details are cosmetic. Buy engines, induction, exhausts and performance tires in Tuning; fitted hardware changes the car on the strip.
Move left to soften power, heat and oil use; right for a more aggressive tune. Timing and boost pressure are separate adjustments. Your own engine bay stays open. Hold to rev and watch the engine twist on its mounts.
More boost means more heat and oil consumption. Fit cooling and an oil pump before pushing hard. Your tune stays with this car.
Performance hardware / upgrades
Stage 4 Competition unlocks after Vega; Stage 5 Works after June. Paid stages improve stats and fit engine, exhaust and tire parts. Cosmetic finishes do not add power.
Pick your competition.
Half-mile races give top speed, cooling and oil endurance more room to matter. Win either distance to progress.
Hold ↑ or W to accelerate. Press Space in the narrow 5,400–5,900 RPM green band for +20% acceleration for 0.8 seconds after the shift. Lift off to cool down and settle a wheelie. Big power with slicks transfers weight onto the rear tires. Three seconds at redline blows the engine; 135°C is fatal too. Rivals use their listed cars and upgrades with the same acceleration, shifting, heat and speed limits as you. Beat each driver to unlock the next.

Compare stock references and simulated current-build performance. Performance sources and test conditions. Every car keeps its own paint, oil, condition, and upgrades.
